They do exist!
May 19th, 2010
For the past six weeks I have embarked on a journey to explore the secret passages and hidden treasures of the internets myriad of Social Media websites. My adventures entailed countless hours (well, about 18 hours actually.) of rituals known as “Go To Meeting” seminars conducted by shapers of the Social Media Marketing craft. I have been bathed in fire and have emerged unscathed!
Now, I have returned to share my gathered knowledge with you, the reader!
Create a profile at any/all Social Media Websites that are relevant. (No Myspace!)
Read the TOS and don’t act a fool.
Follow common sense and social etiquette norms.
Be yourself, yet market you product.
Many other ancillary things.
Now what do I get out of this? I’m glad you asked! I get this snazzy link to put on my website/profile.
(A note to the purveyors of social media knowledge. When granting trinkets such as web site badges to people who develop websites, please make sure to give them an image with a transparent background that they may better implement them into their sites current style. I had to use my mastery of the Photoshops shape tools to re-engineer your original image. Might I suggest a PNG file or at the very least a GIF file? Thank you – mgmt.)
Well that’s not all. In six to eight weeks I’ll be receiving my printed certificate. Just in time for all the current social media websites to become irrelevant! Thanks!
Perhaps I’m being harsh. Social Media and it’s use in todays marketing strategies is a highly valued tool set. I’m happy to at least possess some sort of recognition that says “this guy knows what he’s talking about”. So, thank you smmu! As long as someone else is paying for it, I’d do it all over again!

Buick Horsepower is a site dedicated to the sales and brokerage of classic Buick automobiles. Their primary focus is on the 1970 Buick Gran Sport. With a constant flow of inventory and contacts, www.buickhorsepower.com is the ultimate source for classic Buick muscle!
Buickhorsepower.com began as an informational site for classic Buicks and the annual Buick Horsepower Nationals. It has since been re-purposed by it’s owner, John Chamberlain, to help find new homes for these beautiful automobiles. John knew that the old site was no place to showcase his hobby/first love/obsession, and so approached Locked In The Attic and commissioned us to give the site a frame up restoration.
